Altrom Point

Sunday I went to Altrom Point on Lake Powell overlooking Gunsite Butte. A beautiful place and a colorful drive.

Navajo Loop closed by rockfall

Yesterday at 5 pm there was a major rockfall in Wall Street. Nobody was injured, but for now the Wall Street side of the Navajo Loop is closed. I have recommended that we just leave the rocks and turn it into a little rock scrambling area. I don't think that idea will fly.

Zion

I visited Zion Sunday to look for wildflowers. Not much blooming yet, but I found these beautiful Shooting Stars along the Riverside Walk. Oregon Grapes are flowering here at Bryce.
